Bylaws Article VIII – Contract Ratification
“Only members in good standing shall have the right to vote on contract ratification.”
Ratification is the process used by the union to gain acceptance of a tentative agreement from its members. When BCCE and BUSD ratify a tentative agreement, it becomes a legally binding agreement.
New members may sign up to join the union by completing the BCCE/AFT e-Activator form.
